Egg Drop
The students worked in teams to make a design to protect their egg from breaking. They took turns dropping their eggs to see whose design worked!
Fun Day!
Everyone had a great time at Fun Day!!!
They played Out to Dry and hung wet socks over the rail and got each other very wet!
They played water brigade games and once again got very wet!
Finally, at frisbee golf they dried off!
In they gym, they played a basket toss game and a hula hut game.
They also enjoyed popsicles while listening to the DJ.
Our last game was the bucket toss!

Weekly Happenings
Hello! I hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend! The students deserved a great weekend after working extra hard on the MAP test!
Here is what is happening this week:
Reading: This week we are going to be working on Reader's Theater. The students will work in groups to learn different parts of a play. They will present their plays to the class.
Math: We are going to continue to work on measurement. Their test over chapters 24 and 25 will be this Friday, May 9th. We will review all this week.
Writing: This week we will finish up their first literary essays. Their essays are due this Wednesday! After they finish the essays they've been working on, we will work on another essay that requires a deeper level of thinking. They have all been doing a great job on their essays!
Science: We started chapter 3 of science last week. They are learning about plants and animals. We will continue to work on chapter 3 this week.
Important Reminders:
Daniel Boone Field Trip - Wednesday (please have students bring a sack lunch)
