Hello! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I am excited for another five day week, hopefully!
We have a busy week ahead of us!
Here is what's happening:
Writing - We are working hard on our informational books! This week the students will finish their third chapter which is a journal entry from a historical figure's point of view. We will also work on writing an informational essay for the fourth chapter! I am amazed at how great these books are coming along! The class has put in so much hard work!
Math - We started Geometry! The students are making Geometry booklets to help them with their homework or studying at home! It is a lot of information, but they are doing great so far!
Reading - The students have been working on their book club presentations! They will present their book summaries on Monday! We are also working on Author's Purpose this week. Ask your student about the author's purpose of the book they are reading at home!
Science - This week we started a chapter about matter. Today we will do a sorting activity using the different properties.
Important Updates:
*Jump Rope for Heart is this Friday!
*We go to the library Wednesday this week, so please remind your kiddos to bring their books back.
